Charles "Rolli" Anderson "Rolli" is a freelance writer and painter from the small quiet town of Southey, Canada. After dabbling unsuccessfully in adult poetry, he tried writing a children's poem for fun and found that it felt natural to him. After a few months of experimenting with the concept Charles, still a child at heart, realized this was his calling, and began officially writing for children in 2004. He now has twenty-five publishing credits in online and print magazines, including Wee Ones, Fandangle, Guidepost for Kids, Cecil Child, and Waterfront Press; and also writes short stories and nonfiction articles. His hobbies include collecting (over 10,000) books, snowshoeing, collecting very old hats (more than 200), and memorizing poetry and short stories (over 500, including the complete works of Edgar Allan Poe). Charles also enjoys traveling to places such as Borneo, where he observed orangutans in the wild; and Africa, where he had the good fortune of being hit in the head with hard green fruits thrown by a pair of unruly monkeys! |
