Rosemarie Gillen

Rosemarie writes simply because she enjoys it so much!  "Every time I write, a new world opens up for me. A wondrous, enchanting world, that lives in each word that I write."   She loves adventure and finds that through writing, she can go wherever her characters go.  Rosemarie illustrates because she loves to draw and paint.  She says she realized at an early age that she could share her stories through illustrations. As an adult, Rosemarie's love for picture books, and her son, keeps her inspired.  Her interests range from painting reproductions of great masters, to reading, and horseback riding.

In February of 2007, a series of her illustrations were published for an e-book, titled Wiggle Monster by Sylvia C.  Rosemarie also recently completed a manuscript and several illustrations for her own picture book, titled Templeton's Big Dreams.
